To the South
Sydney lies about 6½ hours drive south.
Newcastle lies about 4½ hours drive south.
Port Macquarie lies about 95 minutes hours drive south.
Kempsey lies about 45 minutes drive south.
Macksville lies about 12 minutes drive south.

To the North
Brisbane lies about 6½ hours drive north.
Gold Coast lies about 4¾ hours drive north.
Ballina lies about 3¼ hours drive north.
Grafton lies about 1¾ hours drive north.
Coffs Harbour lies about 35 minutes drive north.

Walk to the shopping mall, 3 screen cinema complex or the delightful Nambucca River in just a few minutes over perfectly level paved footpaths. 

Faringdon Village is right near the completely level riverside scenic walk which follows the Nambucca River for about two kilometres to the river mouth. There are many places to eat, swim or fish along the way including cafes, fast food outlets, restaurants and three licensed clubs. There is a high chance of seeing Dolphins, Pelicans, Ospreys and Brahminy Kites along the way, not to mention heaps of bream, blackfish and mullet.
